Damn, no idea. I haven't seen this error before. Did the game run ok for you before or is it the first ever attempt?

Still crashes at default clock speeds. this game isn't exactly giving me the best first impression :/

That's really bad luck. At this point the game is still early in development but it runs ok for most people..

I hope someone on this forum will know how to fix this. Good luck mate.

Ok so it seems this is actually a bug from 0.9

Have you tried reinstaling the GPU drivers?
Try older drivers?
Lower the settings?

Is your PSU giving your GPU enough power? (should not be an issue but who knows)

Something from here might help

Not exacly the same issue but hey, its something.

Are you leaving MSI afterburner running in the background or using OSD? @CatCloud love the avatar

Ah yes the classic 3:Rd party software issues, i remember Asus software causing never ending issues for me in BF3 back in the days.

OP Try and close most crap running in the background and try the game again.

@rentaspoon Thanks :P

Yep, infact I had to update to the latest drivers as I was using out dated ones for some time.

Lowered the settings has been done, even tried running in Windowed mode. Got a 600W PSU and i'm fine for power.

Appreciate the help, i have also submitted a ticket to RSI but they haven't responded as of yet

I did come accross that reddit link however never got round to trying it completely, il have a go now

EDIT: Just messing around with clock speeds so far. The problem is MSI's 970 automatically adjusts the card's speeds into different modes depending on what you're doing e.g. gaming so I need to disable this first, I think
