i want to start playing star citizen and would like to take up the exploration part of the game, i was wondering what ships have beds? couldn't find an up to date answer on the internet, Thanks

Hey,

Starting from the cheapest:

You have the Aurora ES, Origin 315p, Freelancer DUR, Constellation Aquila and then the Carrack.

All depends on your budget ;)

All of them except for Mustangs (the beta variant has one), hornet, gladius, gladiator, m50, xian scout and the scythe.  I'm not sure if they have animated the 300 series beds yet, but they come out of the hallway wall.

Planning some long range trips?

Edit I type slow.

what do beds do?

They let you save in space. This way you can log off the game in the middle of the long flight. If you do the same thing in the ship without the bed, the auto pilot will try to take you to the closest safe station but you don't "disappear" from the game. That means that others will be able to shoot at your ship until it manages to run home.

The 300 series have animated beds now, they can be accessed on the right panel near the entrance. The 315p would be a suitable starter for exploration. If you want to shell out big money, go for the Constellation Aquila or Carrack (which is sadly not available anymore)

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

Thanks guys really really helpful, and oh dayum. That 315p...

The 315p is a good ship and has a great paint job, my dad bought one a while ago and ATM has a bigger powerplant which means you can shoot for longer too. If I end up with a 300 series ship, it'll be that.
