Dead Pixel?

So I have had my monitor for a couple of months now, but just Recently A pixel died and its really annoying. My real question is what can I do? The monitor is an Asus VS228H 21.5".

Not much... either you'll just have to get used to it, or get a new one.

You tried pressing on it?

Try pressing on it or using a program that will flash colors at a really fast speed which might wake the pixel up, such as this: http://www.jscreenfix.com/

Thanks but unfortunately it did not.. So is there anything else I can do? Its bad enough my phone also has stuck white pixel pretty much since I got it....

Well for me it did not work, I had a refurb ASUS VG248QE which is expected.

Yeah but I have a dead pixel so I want to know what I can do like send it back... or what not... its not even 6 months old and it was ordered brand new...
