New GPU

I want a new GPU and i foudn 3 things.

1- used 7950 with waterblock- 150$+ 18$ shipping

2- used 7970, 150$+ 10$ shipping

3- used 7950, 100$+ 16$ shipping

 

System is watercooled, i was planning on buying a GPU block later.

7950 is like a 280 and the 7970 is like a 280X. If you're going to be using it in a water-cooled systen, I'd go for 1.

7950 is r9 280, and the 7970 is r9 280x, you can look up benchmarks and then divide cost/fps.

7950 can play far cry 4 maxed out(without AA) at 60 fps constant with a mild overclock. a 7970 can do the same without a OC. 

 

I have both, but like to show that its a solid performer for the cost. how much is a waterblock? that should answer your question between 1,3. number 2 is out. not worth a 50% premium for 20% more performance.

waterblock is like 100$ new.

 

im not sure if that one comes with aoir cooler, wich i would want, to test before wc.
