so i have a 120 gig pny ssd, as my main drive w/ some softwares installed on it and thats it. i should have 40 gigs left over for storage but this past week it has filled up so much that there is only 8gb left, it randomly fills up for no reason and then it doesn't fill up goes from 8 gigs to 11 and back to some other number,  i dont know why. i haven't installed/used up any space at all and all my steam games and everything non software thing is all in my second and third hdd (4.5TB of storage), i checked all directories in program files and temp. files but nothing has changed. why is my ssd randomly filling up. i did plan on getting a bigger drive since they are becoming cheaper, but saw that i still had 40 gigs to go and waited. now i dont have the money right now to get a decent sized ssd.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

system temp files is the easiest, go to advanced system properties, environmental variables and redefine the user variables with the same names but change the location to your secondary drives.

for your browser temp files:

for your downloads folder just go into the properties and redefine its location.

I am assuming that your e drive is your secondary drive, in that case you will want it read

E:\TEMP

E:\TMP
