When I play an intensive game after like 2 minutes it crashes and gives a blue screen. I thought it might have been my overclock but I undid the overclock on my R9 270x and on my AMD fx 4130. Could it be my motherboard over heating because my cpu is staying below 60 C all the time and my gpu never goes over 55 C.

make sure you have all windows updates installed, run malwarebytes, run an antivirus such as avg or avast, and then see if everything is fine again

I did things and ran some programs from the windows site that it told me to do. And I think I broke my computer. I have to reset my mobo bios and do so many driver updates to get it to work. But now it still wont tell me in the system properties what cpu I have and how much RAM I have. It says "Not avaliable" And it won't connect to the wifi. And my wifi works and I tested the dongle on another computer and it worked. So i have no clue what to do to fix it.

Also when I try to uninstall a game for example it won't let me. It says something about windows installer not there or windows is missing somthing is what I got from what it said. Could part of windows be gone? Should I just get the windows 10 preview and call it good?

1.fresh install (or use an other harddrive with a fresh install on it)

2.test with that

3.if you still have bsod it's a hardware problem

4.check all cable if correctly plugged

3.test other hdd

3.1. step 4-8 can be done out of the case to do the case check at the same time and save time

4.test other ram

5.test other graphic card

6.test other power supply

7.test other mobo-processor

8.test any combination of 3-4-5-6-7 with the maximum level being having an other computer entirely (which I don't believe is possible cause you'll need to have all dead part at the same time)

9.if not already done check out of the case

10.this method solve any existing and non-existing issue (except the classic I don't have electricity no more why my computer does not work issue)

I only have one hard drive. And when I tried to reinstall it wouldn't let me choose my USB with windows 7 on it.

But I will have to wait until this weekend to test my graphics and RAM.

*When I go into my trobble shooting* *click some things*

can you be more clear with a screen shot or something cause I don't see what you're trying to do just make a bootable usb drive (you'll need a 4gb usb key) or with a bootable dvd. in the boot menu of your bios set the priority to usb if you choosed usb and dvd player if you choosed that one then reboot. You'll just have to select your drive than delete every partition than simply click next and fill the blank until it's done ^^ hope it will help you

edit: you can google "how to fresh intall" I'm sure there is a video showing everything

I right click over my wifi icon on the lower right corner of the scree.

Click on "Troubleshoot problems"

Click "Explore additional options"

Then click "Recovery"

Then click advanced recovery methods

then click reinstall windows.

And my problem is that It will only let me use an actual install disk. So it won't let me use the copy of windows 7 ultimate I have on a USB drive.

ok so you need to find a windows 7 ultimate iso (it's totally legal normally it's microsoft that give them) burn it with img burn on a cd it will make a bootable cd. Boot your computer with the cd in it (normally it should display press anykey to boot from disk) press a key. Then select custom install. Then delete all partition of your disk. Then simply follow the step until the end.

edit: I'm currently at work so I'll take my time at 12h to pm you and explain everything with links to the download of everthing

ok so i currently have a brake I'll try to explain everything the more simple way possible

1. download a windows 7 iso  : "http://www.techverse.net/download-windows-7-iso-x86-x64-microsofts-official-servers/" if you're searching for a link take a 64 bit version

2. make a bootable usb stick "http://pcsupport.about.com/od/file-folder/fl/burn-iso-usb.htm" with the iso

3. turn your computer off than turn it on mash delete until the bios appear select boot priority and set your usb key as the first

4.reboot your computer

5. when the message "press any key to boot from dvd" just press any key

6. wait the loading time then select custom install

7.delete every partition of your hard drive *caution* you'll loose all your data so save them before

8.then click next and just fill all blank and click next at each step. at the unter the product key jsut ignore and click next

9. after the fresh install is done just run removewat "https://kickass.so/removewat-2-2-6-latest-t4540313.html" so you'll not have to enter the registration key for windows

10. and that's how you do a fresh install

**edited for usb stick**

replace step 2. by "http://pcsupport.about.com/od/file-folder/fl/burn-iso-usb.htm" you'll need a usb key at least 4gb of memory

I edited all the previous step you can look ^^

Sometimes systems don't respond well to Windows Updates.  When the computer blue screens, write down the error code and reason and application.  Then search it on the internet and see if any of those applications are associated with any Windows Updates.  If so, find out which one, and uninstall that particular update.

This has worked for me before, but if the error(s) are not relevant to Windows Updates, then you have another problem.

I hope that you figure the problem out.  Blue Screens are the worst!
