No audio in Battlefield 3 with Kraken Pro 7.1 USB headset

hknutsen

My Kraken Pros work fine with everything, except Battlefield 3, where I get no audio. It's connected through a USB, not a 3.5mm, if that means anything. I have checked the drivers. Audio works fine when connected through other headphones.

Did you set the default playback device?

Yes. Skype and everything is working properly. I obviously tried restarting the game and my computer, and I tried closing all other programs running, including Skype. Nothing seems to work though. I have the same problem with Tomb Raider 2013, but I never found a fix for that either.

Try disabling/uninstalling other sound devices in case they aren't conflicting with them
