iGPU Question

Can I use my iGPU for my second monitor? I also have a VGA on my monitor but I'm not sure it can drive another monitor.

Actually I believe you can. but why not just plug it into your gpu?

It's enabled in the bios but I don't know how I would go about making it dual monitor since I keep getting errors.

Not sure then, driver issues are the problem AFAIK.

I'm downloading drivers as we speak since I never updated them

didnt your graphics card come with a dvi-d to vga adapter? I know i have atleast 6 laying around.

your card has a dvi-d and a dvi-I this will go in the dvi-I port. if you have any spare tech in your house go look around for one of these. if not, its only 3 bucks and just works. 

 

 

 

actually, I say that and i look up and theres one sitting on my messy desk. hopefully you can find one if you cant figure out the igpu, but like i said, they are very cheap otherwise

So what I'm thinking is that the 2nd monitor is dead because it's just sitting there blinking. Yet whenever I unplug the VGA it tells me no display cable attached. Any ideas?

 

EDIT: Fixed myself by disabling device 2
