watching Linus's whole room water cooling video I saw that the GPU's are also included in the water cooling. so I wondered if the GPU manufacturer matters still if you're gonna end up doing some water cooling on the GPU?

I guess I'm also just asking if the cooling the only difference between different GPU manufacturers of the same GPU model.

all that matters is what PCB it is since custom PCB's usually arent easy to find

It matters depending on what GPU Blocks are available.

Usuall the first GPU blocks that come out are for reference PCB's. They also can be cheaper because they produce a lot of blocks for reference designs. It would be a lot more complicated if they used custom PCB cards..

Yes, if you choose to buy a non-reference GPU that means you will need to find a block that fits its not reference PCB layout.

Some manufacturers bin their products more than others, guaranteeing you a certain over-clock, so if that's something you'd care about you might pay more for a card like that.
