Good 2.0 or 2.1 speakers

gooooofpie

Still in search for good speakers, preferably not large ones like the A2 or A5. Creative GigaWorks T40 looks kinda appealing but I wonder if it delivers good sound given that they have been in the market for almost 6 years.

if the a2 is large then creative is the only one.

for context what is actually large, and those at the end aren't that big as speakers go either. the most left ones are the a2's.

Age is no real indication of sound quality in the audio world.

I got these a little while back: http://www.amazon.com/Arion-Legacy-AR504LR-BK-Speaker-Subwoofer/dp/B0029Z9UNW/ref=sr_1_2/189-6340315-6029528?ie=UTF8&qid=1420127771&sr=8-2&keywords=arion+2.1

They're pretty good. The only thing I don't like is the front panel LCD is blue and bright as balls at night. I'd put that side against a wall or something, but it's also where the IR sensor is for the remote. They're kinda tall, but not very wide. I think Paul from Paul's Hardware actually has a set that I saw in one of his videos.
