Soooo I've been planning a build and I want to water cool a Xeon e3 1230v3 and do a complete water cooling loop with custom mods and what not...but am I crazy to use a Xeon to save 90 over a 3790k to not overclock

I've got like 1700 budgeted to spend

Current Build: Desk

My case is my most expensive part

Its Almost 2015 and I don't have an SSD

Why the 1220? no hyperthreading. I'd get a 1230 if you have the funds.

You can but there is no need. If you watercool, just spend the extra $100 and oc.

Yes i meant that! Will change

I'm thinking I'm going to build it in stages (air stage, customer air stage, custom WC stage) that way I can get what I want faster and still get to the end goal of a bad computer

Haha sweet! I didn't expect to meet someone who watched my video so soon in my yt career! Haha

use the 1231 v3.

What's the difference between that and the 1230?
