So, I am using two drives, a 1 TB main drives for all my extensive programs and main files, and a 500gb backup drive which I (Hope) to keep music, family photos and other important files, so If I upgrade I will always have them.

But, I cannot boot when I have it installed.

When I turn on the computer, it boots past the motherboard screen and boots into a loading sector. It says, loading from cd/dvd drive twice (Most likely the ones I have installed) and it says Failed to boot from CD drive, please put in boot disk.

I already tried the boot priority in bios, nothing happened.

Currently, I am running the main drive (1TB) With an older drive that still has an OS. and when I boot up it asks me wether to boot into windows 7 or 7? (Both drives have windows 7) I pick the first one and boot into my 1TB drive. Any help?

Second drives OS may be corrupted. You will need to find away to format it before you can use it. Maybe try unplugging the main drive?

Noooo, What I mean is with the 500gb drive in, the main 1tb drive doesn't load to windows 7

Yeah but you said the 500GB drive still has an OS on it. Try just booting with the secondary plugged in and try to format the 500GB drive. It seems to have a corrupted bootloader causing issues. You should be able to use a Windows Installation USB stick to get into the area where you can format the disk. Then plug the main drive back in and that should work.

NO NO NO I meant that the 500gb is just a plain drive I had laying around with that installed I can't load windows, the 250gb is the one with the os that I can use to boot w/ my 1tb (Sorry for the confusion)

Point still stands about the formatting the drive through a USB stick.
