(Steam)Stuck on installing from disk

Hi. So I got a copy of MW3 today. I'm installing from the disk. I inserted disk 1, it accepted the key, created the cache, then it started installing. But it's stuck on 0mb. It has not installed anything right now. The install is stuck on installing from disk, and on steam the game says updating. What should I do? Also, the game says "Disk space required : 5 mb". -_-

in steam down in the corner it says add game (i have it on danish so the translation can be incorrect) click that and there is an option named activate product on steam just use your key there and it should download the game
