Help choosing GPU

Go to solution Solved by DND,

Yeah, but a decent 980 costs almost 600€ here :( so I could try OCing a bit those 760s I have? \

yeah you could just go oc those babies out and maybe just upgrade to a better cooling? it would cost you much less rather than having to upgrade.

Heeeeelloooo :)

Yesterday I was thinking (which is a rare thing for me, lol)... right now, I have two EVGA GTX760 in SLI and I was wondering, if I should switch to one, more powerful GPU, and if so, which one?

The GTXs are not that old, so I could get a decent amount of moneyz for them (I hope) and I have my old mobo and CPU around, so I can sell those too and that would technically be my budget (with some spare change) - 500€ (608USD).

I know, that a GTX970 would not outperform my 760s, so AMD maybe? Is there a GPU, that would outperform my GPUs? I dont know, so I am asking you, the wise community :)

As stated, the budget would be around 500€ (608USD) and I dont care much for the color of the GPU shroud, as I could plasti-dip it to match my build :D

Thanks

I would ask you not to upgrade.

dual 760s are really strong (i think they are about a single 980 performance)

People need to stop throwing cash away just because they have them IMO (no offense)

Stick with the gtx 760s for now, no point in buying something newer for a very small performance increase.

The EVGA ACX cooler is fine, but maybe I can switch out the stock fans in my H440 for better airflow... Thanks for the help :)
