My brother's computer had this problem, while he was playing WoW his computer suddenly hung and when he restarted it the computer starts up and shuts off in an endless cycle (nothing appears on the screen)

I tried resetting CMOS/ swapping the battery out but it doesnt seem to work.

Both GPU and CPU fan moved (when it starts up) and stops when it shuts off.

All of the light on the MOBO shuts off when the computer shuts off too!

Did you try turning off and on?

No but like seriously, maybe the psu went bad or the mobo or cpu is failing .

Multiple times!

Still no luck D:

hmm, I would disconnect and shutdown the psu for a few hours and then test again.

Turns out the PSU was faulty :)

(I gave him my old one for a new year present)

Happy new year and thanks! :D
