I have a 300r and I'm planning to get the H220. I don't have enough space in my case so I would have to mount the radiator internally and the fans externally.

Just a quick question, how do you connect the fan to the mobo or psu if it's on top of the case?

thanks

Err...if you mean mount the fans on top of the case, I wouldn't do that as things could fall or dust could easily get into the fans...I would mount the radiator on top and have the fans internally to be honest.

Also, I'm not watercooling man, haven't tried and know absolutely nothing about it, but that is the way I would do it, or get some sort of fan shroud.

You could take the fan pins out of the header, put them through the mesh and then reconnect them on the other side. Its a lot of effort but it would go directly in if you did it that way.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.
