Prime 95 4790k test

I was a little curious on why my CPU temps are fluctuating so I booted up  aida 64 and Prime 95 

I tested Aida 64 for 10 mins I got the maximum temps of  62, 65, 63, 60

 

Then I tested Prime 95 for about 30 seconds and I got the temps of 82, 84, 83,78 

Why does prime 95 raise my temps up by 20c compared to aida 64? 

 

Also prime 95 increased my voltage from 1.208 to 1.216

 

Also the cooler I was using was the H100i with 2 noctua nf-f12 IPPC 2000 rpm

Stop Prime95 on haswell immediately. It overvolts the thing like crazy and Prime95 is the absolute worst of the bloody worst. Aida is a much better indicator and stress tester

I have just tested it with the Intel extreme tweaking stress test. And I get the max temps of 61, 60 ,61, 57.
