Hyper 212 Evo Question

In my new build I put the Hyper 212 Evo fan facing the rear exhaust. Is this right or do I need to flip it round?

That's probably not right.  The fan blows air into the heatsink and I'm assuming you want the air to be blown out the back of the case.

Ah, will I need thermal paste remover etc. to change its direction?

If you have the fan blowing air towards it, then it's fine. Otherwise, just take the fan off the actual heatsink and move it to the other side.

No, just take off the fan and put it on the other side.

its fine, the fan is the side that blows out, I just checked on mine, don't switch it

And I can just use the thermal paste that is there? Or do I need to remove it and apply new stuff?

It doesn't matter I had all my air coolers with the fan sucking air form the back and noticed no difference in temps when I switched.

I'm going to move the fan to the other side and see how that affects CPU temps

There is an arrow on the fan you can flip it anyway you want. You can make it push or pull.

Yeah, you want the heat going out of the case. Doing it push or pull doesn't matter for temps.
