The modmic comes with a magnet that you stick onto your headphones.

Hi . i just replaced my old logitech headset with a new pair of headphones .

The problem is that i need some sort of microphone now, and since the sides of my new headphones arent magnetic i cant really use a modmic. 

 

on the other hand a yeti og blue snowball would proberly not be a great idea either , since i got  2 parrots , which is really noisy. even when all doors are closed xD.

 

so basicly i need a new microphone that wont pick up a whole lot of background sound.

Zalman ZM-MIC1 is decent and probably cheaper than the modmic. Not as cool tho
