Microsoft working on new browser ( not IE)

You can't uninstall IE, windows explorer uses it. You can remove the application in as much as you don't know its there but it still is there.

Also in Europe MS have to unpin IE from the taskbar and install an app which gives you a choice of installing one of the current top 10 list of browsers as the systems default browser.

ik that, but its as close as possible, that counts xD

No it doesn't.

IE, since Vista, is no longer part of Windows Explorer. Windows Explorer is completely apart. That is why some people have this, on their system on folders:

Some program (probably and most likely some lovely XP dated search tool bar) tried to install an ActiveX toolbar, but the ActiveX can't be loaded, as IE is out of it. So now these affected users are "stuck" with this mystery scalable (the cursor shows that it can be scaled, but can't) in Windows explorer.
