Mouse mat or new mouse?

Robi_g

I love the feel of my CM storm Xornet, but it jitters sometimes and won't track on some parts of my desk.

Would a mouse mat fix this?

If yes (or probably yes), what are some good mousemats?

If no, what are some good optical mice of a similar shape the the Xornet?

if you dont have a mosue mat get one cause it will be a lot more comfortable to use the mouse and probabbly will fix your problem and i personally use the Steelseries Qck with a CS:GO graphics on it cause it was cheaper then the normal one for some odd reason

Grabbing a mouse mat to try it out would be cheaper than replacing the entire mouse.

Worse case if it is the mouse, you will need a mouse mat with the replacement mouse anyways, so no harm.

I love my Steelseries Qck mousemat, and I see it recommended a lot.  Very cheap but very good.

Hi,

Ya this sounds like "not using a mouse mat" =P

I personally prefer soft mats [but that's up to you really"

And I can recommend the SteelSeries QCK / Razer Goliathus mouse mats, both very nice, the Razer one has stiched edges which makes it more durable, but I find the Steelseries one to track a little better. ^^

I'd spend $20 on a mat and give that a try.

Thank you all, was leaning towards a mouse mat, but wanted to check in case it was some well known problem with this particular mouse.
