Question about SLI support

Your CPU has only 16 lanes so if you populate both 16x slots they will only run at 8x/8x since the CPu only has 16 lanes. It is nothing to worry about, it's 100% normal with SLI and is not a bottleneck

So I have this motherboard and newegg says that if you're using both pcie 3.0 slots then each is running in 8x instead of 16x. Does this mean I can't SLI, or is it just a normal limitation?

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

That's a normal limitation your fine to run SLI on that motherboard.

It's limited by the platform, only the extreme line gets x16. 

It will not make any difference to the performance though.
