Welcome everyone.

This story is short. My rig is in the signature and just so happens i have a 100pounds for shits and gigles.

What would you if anything, buy/add to my humble station. It feels complete for me but personally i was thinking about another 8gb o RAM.

I don't make videos or anything like that. Just gaming.

If anything, maybe a nice mouse upgrade. Only real thing I can think of that would make sense for an upgrade.

Normandy - Intel Core i5 3470, 8 GB Corsair Vengenace LP, EVGA GTX 960 SSC, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, WD Blue 1 TB, Seagate 320 GB (steam), Seagate 320 GB (experimental, second OS, etc), Windows 8.1 + Ubuntu 14.10

Garrus - HP Stream 11

Intel conversion, interesting idea. Was thinking about it. Although i'll say this Phenom of mine, still kicks some serious ass in games. Maybe it's my lazyness or ignorance but conversion to Intel is a little overhelming for me.

Intel makes so many CPU models, i'm just loosing my shieet when in comes to picking.

What are the current (future proof) Intel chips, wich will not make me sell a kidney to get them? Gaming pourpose's.

Upgrade to a G3258 + 1150 MOBO. Put a CPU cooler if you have the money, an ASUS H81M-E and then overclock. A lot. A f**king lot.

Future proofing in terms of performance, just get an i5.

In terms of compatibility with future components, the Intel 9 series chipset motherboards will accept the next generation of Intel processors (Broadwell)

Can't quite do that with 100gbp, so save up till you got ~250gbp and you can convert easily.

Hmm, i would need to change the mobo too.

Darn it. Is the I5 still capable of solid performance in nowaday games?

I'll check youtube right away. When does the Broadwell get release?

OK. So i made the research on youtube and various websites and.... you were right.

I mean I5 is faster than ever, it's just the total cost what bothers me. :<

I can't dish out 250 from my budget now :< I will need to wait until next month damn it!

Annnnnnnd, wouldn't be better to buy another 770 and go SLI? (that was the plan 6 months ago)
