need help with RAM

My system specs are amd fx 83350   asus m5a99fx evo r2.0 mobo and team vulcan ddr3 1600mhz 8g ram. I would like to know if i should get 1866mhs 16gb ram or 8 more gb of the team vulcan ram? Thank you for any advice.

Are you adding ram? Try not to mix 1600mhz with 1866mhz as the 1600 will just slow the 1866 down. Other than that, more than 8GB isn't needed unless you got money to blowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

What are you doing for it? For things like gaming, etc, there will really be no difference between 1600mhz and 1866mhz. Also, unless you're really into editing, etc, you don't really need 16gb of RAM.
