My friend is wanting to buy  new graphics card for his PC but doesn't know whether it'll run with the motherboard + he's never opened up his PC to look at the name of the motherboard, I'm using a laptop and also want to know the make of my motherboard to compare the difference with the PC I am building. Is there a way to locate the motherboard name by asking the computer itself via control panel, command prompt, etc?
