How high can Cooler master V8 GTS cooler overclock?

Go to solution Solved by givingtnt,

results depend on :

-cpu

-''sillicon lottery''

-motherboard

-overall case cooling

-cooler

-thermal paste

really hard to tell. but you should go around 4.5 - 4.7 ghz

but I agree with what spwath  said

So I was thinking about buying the cooler master v8 gts but I don't know if it's worth it or how high i would even be able to overclock a i7 4780k because I've seen lots of different result around the web so any help would be appreciated.

there are better coolers for the price, from noctua, phanteks, and be quiet!

If you're all bout the aesthetics, go for it. If you don't have a windowed case or don't mind, I recommend the Hyper 212 Evo.

Get the dark rock pro 3, its a sleek looking cooler. And an excellent performer too.

Yeah but the hyper 212 evo still does the job well and you can do a bit of overclocking with it, but I agree with you though
