Corsair K95 RGB help with cue

So i got a Corsair K95 Sails edition (Mx Red) for Christmas. I love this keyboard its great. The colors look amazing! and some of the light patterns are epic!

 

The only problem is any changes i make in the CUE software don't stick and i cant see a save button or anything along those lines.

In the YouTube videos I've seen no one says how to get them to stick to the keyboard.  When i first put the keyboard in it said to do a firmware update....... but this is corsair. all there firmware upgrades have failed me in the past and wrecked the product. I've also seen people complain about the firmware update. so yeah am doubt full I'l do that without fully researching that. 

 

I was wondering how you get the profile to stick to the keyboard. instead of returning to the default. 

 

Also i want Linus to do a LTT key-cap!!
