You'll need to watch closely. The original Vengeance K series has the sails logo and only had 1 color backlighting. Originally when RGB was released it was with the new "gaming" branding. Due to people's complaints though they re-released the RGB with the original logo. So basically - depending on what model you're looking at, the Vengeance K70 could be the exact same as the Gaming except the logo, or it could be the original which doesn't have RGB but has a USB pass-through.

I'm thinking about getting a corsair k70 cherry brown switch. However there is the corsair gaming k70 and corsair vengeance k70. Can someone tell me the difference between them other than the logo? I know the gaming has the wing logo and the vengeance has the sails. Also when someone says corsair k70, do they mean the gaming or vengeance edition?

Pretty sure it's just the logo.

If they're both RGB then its just the logo AFAIK. Great keyboard by the way i have one. :)

the corsair gaming is RGB?

 Not fully true i have a sails edition k95 rgb. i think it is just a logo change ( but they've changed everything so re branding maybe). The only difference between a gaming and vengeance k70 would be the logo. 

If you read the same things as others and say the same things they say, then you're perceived as intelligent.

Sails logo = Vengeance.

Tramp Stamp = Gaming.
