What driver are you downloading from NVIDIA's site?

Thanks for the replies. The latest NVIDIA 320.18 graphics driver. Currently, the OEM version is stuck at ver 186

If you have a 600m series then I think you are fine but if you have 500m or 400m then you better downgrade to 310 or something. 320 has some problems.

In some cases, you need to use the OEM driver because of some customization done by the OEM. It won't hurt to try the latest nVidia driver, but you may need to use the OEM driver for stability.

You need to make sure the driver you're selecting matches up with your GPU. Such as downloading a 500m series driver for a 500m series GPU.
