Better having a small or large case?

Hi guys,

was wondering if it's better to have a really large or a really small case, with these conditions: to watercool 'properly', I am going to buy rads 480/560mm long, so the question was about having them outside or inside the case... The dust isnt a problem, but I would not spend 400+ bucks on a 900d or a caselabs just to have the rads inside. So, apart from the compatibility with larger mobos, is worth to spend the extra mopney with a large case?

Thanks

All up to personal preference. I like large cases personally. Just for ease of building. But others may prefer smaller cases.

There's little point to getting a large case for wc'ing if you don't need the convenience or neatness of having them inside of the case.

I like bigger cases better (size matters), because cable management is easier and I can put more in it later.

If you have limited space or take your PC with you to LANs or to your grandparents or whatever, it might be worth it. (a smaller case)

Odd most people dont want to have rads on the outside anymore..

If you want them on the outside then get a smaller case. Remember this case/computer will be for you and atheistically should only matter if you like it..

I prefer more mid towers these days. not to big not to small and you can still fit a lot in them..

Mid towers are larger than necessary nowadays imo. Matx is generally enough for most users.

I think people with the large cases are compensating for something.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

True true..people seem to like pretty cases with tons of empty wasted space..

My project I went for biggest mid tower case that would fit all ideas..
