Should i upgrade my q6600 core 2 quad 2.4 Ghz ?

Go to solution Solved by Levent,

you will need to upgrade your cpu, motherboard, rams, and probably your psu or you can overclock your cpu

gaming requires graphics card horsepower you have a good gpu but other components are kinda old and holding your gpu behind

hey guys i have a quad core q6600 4 gigs of ram and a R7770 graphics card. Which part should i upgrade first ? is this cpu still relevant gaming wise ?

YAY WE HAVE THE SAME STUFF :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

i suggest cpu upgrade first since that will suck loads of money

new motherboard

new ddr3/ddr4 ram

new cpu

possibly a new cooler or use stock

gpu can be done later cuz it runs pretty well (i hopes u agree with that) =]

gpu is more important in gaming but im guessing our cpu's are gona bottleneck a good graphics card

Ya agree, the R7770 can run most current games without an issue
