Hello, please can someone help me, i have just got a new pc with a gtx 979, i7 4770k and RM750 psu and i am only getting an average if 45 fps in bf4, my internet is really slow, is that the problem? could someone please help me

No try updating all drivers gtx 970 @45 fps on max seems right. I know on my 780 ti i can hit 80 to 150fps at times. My best bet is you need new drivers.

I downloaded the latest drivers and its still the same problem but sith a gtx 970 it isnt supposed to ever drop below 60fps, ive seen so many people use this card and average 90 fps

What are your settings? Is it maxed out also what resolutions,if it persist try lowering your card settings or overclock it.ill reply quickly if you post back.

That's some really low FPS for a 970, how much RAM does your computer have? Because more often than not computers that aren't custom built are very unbalanced. (aka it might not have enough RAM installed).

I have vsync off and 1080p, 144hz i am so fucking pissed off, 300 quid on a graphics card and it doesnt work!!!

Are you really talking about BF4? Because it consumes about 3.3GB on Windows 7 32bit (just the limits of the system) and can hit over 5GB when running off Windows 7 64bit. Plus the fact that its minimum requirements are 4GB of RAM, I don't think your able to play it off just a tiny 2GB.

Try unparking your CPU Cores. I have heard it helps greatly with Battlefield 4:

I've had issues with the 970 too, but that's mainly because my CPU is pretty meh.

All I can suggest is trying to OC your CPU as much as you can because BF4 is pretty CPU reliant, despite what some people say.

Sure my secret is to click on the game and play not very hard to do and i let it do its thing.

Have you checked out the GPU and CPU temperatures? Maybe check out the usage too while you're at it.
