So I'm trying to build a budget PC for my brother and I dont know a good graphics card to get to put in the system. He wont be trying to go for 4K ultra and really doesnt care for graphics all too much any way. The budget of the PC is $300 US that is excluding the OS. I currently without a GPU it stands at around $200 and that leaves around a $100 - $125 budget for GPU. He mostly plays TF2, Minecraft, and League of Legends. Please help me pick a GPU that can achieve good settings and FPS a decent price for this much.

ummm.... for $300 WITH an OS, buy a pre built, as much as those words hurt my mouth...

 

for gaming, a $300 console will get you farther because

 

$100 OS

cpu/mobo/ram/power supply/case/hdd $125 at least even if you buy used

 

so a $72 craptastic gpu? anything under $100 totally not worth it unless used

 

plus minecraft needs a quad core to even run at medium setting with 45+ fps.

 

come back when he has saved up $200 more
