Hey guys and gals. Im looking for a build that is completely based upon price per performance. I do not want to get diminishing returns by spending more just to get the top of the line _______ (You name it) when there is something else close to it with close performance but at a significantly less price.

The use will be for gaming, video recording, video editing, and internet surfing (i like to have multiple tabs open).

i would like to get the OS, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headphones with it.

Is there a sweet spot where price and performance meet?

Thanks

Since you're rendering, I recommend the i7 4790K. If you think that's too much, you can get the Xeon 1231 v3.

USA

$2500 would be the max I possibly can chip out on this thing. I'm hoping that the price per performance build does not come anywhere close to that amount, so that's why i didn't put a price on it.

Also i would not mind overclocking to get better performance. Hopefully the build will be set to upgrade in the future when i need to and wont have to replace a bunch of parts just to get a newer _____.

What kind of videos are you editing? Programs being used?

Videos will be of recording games and editing that video.

Will be playing a wide range of games.

Are you using many special effects or just cutting together games with some audio?

Just cutting together games with audio.

I'd recommend something like this for the best price/performance build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pvkbGX  (that is without going to a more entry-level system with a G3258 + 270 which would probably be better value-wise)

The Hyperborea is to be put in the front for intake.

There are two mice because peripherals are really up to preference--that includes the keyboard and audio. The dual arm display mount is if you have a table to mount the displays onto. I use one and it's really helpful to have my monitors at eye level and extra desk space from removing the stock stands.
