Today I got an SSD and I've never dealt with them. I've heard here and there that sometimes the SSDs will not boot or be recognizable after formatting it and i'm a little paranoid.
Do I just install windows the same way that I've been doing it or do I need to do some extra stuff that I not aware of?

Well in theory. Even if you defragment an SSD every day it will probably still live longer than a mechanical HDD.

There's really no problem defragging an SSD now. You shouldn't do it often but it wont kill it off if you do.

Well, you're still burning writes for no reason ^^

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Only issue I ever had with an ssd is intel's tool box software. Every time I used to run the diagnostics or optimization software it either made my drive temporarily invisible to the uefi or I had to reset my pc boot drive order. I can't explain it and not wasting my time figuring it out. I just delete after firmware updates
