Yes, you can also search your model in google " p8z77-v deluxe " and visit their homepage and learn more about your mainboard.

You can 2way SLI or 3way Crossfire (amd cards)

Yeah itll work perfectly fine, Asus claims its 4 way sli motherboard (which is not, dont know how youll get 16x or 8x PCIe lines on a z77 motherboard) but it will run perfectly fine with 2 GPUs

They meant Quad Sli, A dual GPU card per pcie slot.

Yeah it´s confusing.
