Yup good build .. but dont know why you need a 750 watts PSU. Are you going to Sli in the future?

Also, if get an SSD for OS and applications and maybe some game if I were you

The thermal paste is unnecessary. The preapplied paste on the h100i is fine.

No ssd? Is the optical drive really necessary?

Are you planning to sli?

Are you limited to newegg or are you open to other US shops?

Gaming indeed, and yes, I have it

This HDD is $20 cheaper http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm001 also if you can, try and squeeze a 120GB Crucial MX100 in there. They're about $50-$60

I have heard a lot of reviews about Arctic-MX and I feel like it will really impact temperatures.

Noup, I thought that a hybrid drive should do the job, mainly because I just want to install the OS and an SSD would be unnecessary.

I am planning to SLI

And I'm pretty much limited to Newegg

It wouldn't make much if any difference in temps. Chances are that you wouldn't be able to apply it as well as the preapplied paste either.

A sshd while much snappier than a hdd, doesn't touch the speeds of a ssd + hdd.
