I am so mad at Steam

CS:GO WON'T LAUNCH!!! It does but never even makes it to the title screen. It doesn't even make it before it closes out. I have uninstalled it then reinstall it. I have restarted my computer and stuff. After I do that it launches. It stayed open ~10 minutes then it closed out (just after I got into a competitive game :angry:) How do I fix this.

did you try reinstalling or rollback the drivers.

Well, since this is just you it's not CS:GO's problem. Something is wrong on your end, and honestly we probably couldn't troubleshoot it for you since there are so many things that could be going wrong.

I think it may be steam, I have some friends who are having this same problem with random games.  Like one of my friends is having the problem with don't starve.  Another is having this with PayDay 2.

do you have anything downloaded from the workshop?

did you verify game cache? 

 

my skyrim and dont starve mess up if i have my workshop load order messed up ive personally never gotten any csgo skins or maps so i dont how to fix that issue but usually if im having problems on steam a quick cut and paste to desktop then back to the steam folder with a verify game cache works also for some reason logging out and back in works for me too

I would also try to verify cache in the future, but glad you solved the problem with drivers.

On my end, if I minimize csgo or alt tab the game might close on me, this had only be happening lately. So this is a weird time for some users.
