Whenever you visit a web page they can see your IP, location and ISP information and they can track you down to find out what they want about you if they need to.

I've been using a VPN and the noscript and self-destructing cookie plugins for a while now.

IP does not tell anyone who you are and if you think that, I suggest you do more reading.

They can get to know that with ease, didn't say it told you exactly who you are.
