low memory problems

so my pc is old so i have 4gb dd2 memory and cause i am paying for my college i cant buy a new one and non-ecc ddr2 ram its too expensive for its kind its even twice more than ddr3 cause i have only two slots  i need 2x4gb to reach my motherboard 8gb limit

what i am asking its what problems can i face with low memory mostly in game because i know not to have open a bunch o programs at the same time

and i am playing codaw and ghost  without getting low memory errors at medium settings

your game or any apps will stutter due to the program using the HDD for swap memory

Look for used memory. Since DDR2 is already considered so old, you should be able to find even 4Gb sticks somewhere well under retail pricing.

I have 4gb ddr2 in my old PC, need it though :-(. Try and find some on ebay or whatever, you can find 6gb for 20€ in Germany.

A question: Where do you live? It could be worth trying and importing it, it should be tax free.

i live in cyprus it should be tax free and i have a friend who studies there but he came home for the holidays

you have a single 4gb stick on your old pc? ( i would prefer to just direct me to an online shop to buy it as you say its cheap)

Sorry i typed cyprus in google maps and it showed that it is an island in greece . 

Ps: yeah 4gb sticks seem to be very expensive and rare. 

Try and close some programms you dont need and you should be ok
