CPU hitting 100°, Replaced TIM Already

What's that gonna do for me, its some sort of cooling problem not stability

I'm not so sure about that.... the fact that BF4 crashes instantly makes me think it's an instability issue more than a cooling issue. (Unless of course your cpu jumps to over 100c instantly upon opening BF4 and crashes the pc and not just bf4). 

 

Edit: looks like I may have misread your post... well, I find it hard to believe it's a cooler issue since it idles at a consistent temperature over long periods of time. So, I'd bet its an issue with the cpu.

Is the LED on your H100i red?

If so, pump (or you set it to red).

If not, probably still pump. Connect the USB cable the the block, and to the motherboard, and update the firmware with corsair link. 

If that does not work, RMA it.

Try using some other stress testing program to make sure Prine 95 is not causing the problem.

 

If all else fails, try putting everything back to stock in the bios and put the stock cooler on.

If that keeps it cooler than the H100 then replace the H100.

Its a pinkish, it won't stay the same damn color so I uninstalled the software

I think this is what I'm gonna try, its basically the only way to make sure its not the H100i

No, I will set it to pure blue, restart the computer and it will set itself to a blueish-red

Do the firmware update, and if that issue is not resolved, RMA the cooler.

If you have done it, it looks like the pump may be failing. 

Corsair is really good with RMA, so i'd contact them and give it a shot.

That seems fine. just remembered youre not supposed to use prime on haswell cpu's -> it causes the cpu to apply 0,5mV additional voltage to the cpu and hence cause more heat.

 

Slapped on the stock cooler and even screwed up and let a corner lift after I had spread the thermal paste so theres probably a bubble and at stock speeds 3.9Ghz in BF4 it never got over 60°. So do you guys think its the H100i then, in Prime95 it still hit 95°

Defs is the cooler then. RMA that thing, Corsair customer service is really helpful. Also Prime95 can get a processor up to 90+ pretty easily so no surprise.

Using stock speeds and getting over 60°C in games, you could have bought a 40$ aircooler to reach that level.

This must be a problem with your watercooler.

I can't see how the issue could possibly be anything else (seeing as you've already checked it's mounting and determined you don't need the washer mod). I'm just not quite sure why/how temps would spike so quickly under load yet remain constant at idle...I've actually ran my Seidon 240m on my 4690k (overclocked) with the pump completely off as a proof of concept and I was able to launch a game and sit in it for a bit before my temps reached above 85c.

Don´t know much about the H110.
