Yes, see if you can RMA the H100i, and stop using prime95; use aida64.

You can kill your CPU with prime 95

hmm, reaching 95°C in prime95 with the stock cooler and 100°C with the H100i :/

 

Edit: The best thing you can do is trying to contact corsair.

 

 

Defs is the cooler then. RMA that thing, Corsair customer service is really helpful. Also Prime95 can get a processor up to 90+ pretty easily so no surprise.

Regardless, I'm really not sure what would cause BF4 to instantly crash then...something weird is going on other than temps.

I'd guess its not the CPU, the h100i probably has a broken pump.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P
If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but have you made sure that the block is making full contact with the cpu? The last corsair AIO I installed came with different sized posts for broader compatibility.
