GPU Overclock Problems

Hi everybody, I have 2x Asus R9 280xs in crossfire paired with an i7 4790k. I'm trying to overclock the GPUs using Asus GPU Tweak and I have the clock speed set at 1160MHz (Stock is 1070) but it seems as if they're not going beyond 970MHz, anybody know a fix to this? Thanks.

My 280x had some issues with its boost frequency. Some people say that the flashplayer caused this, but i couldn't confirm that entirely.

Try a restart and then start a game without using your web-browser.
