I say yes cause of all the mods you can get for it.

Edit: For SLI you need to change the default one from Nvidia because its absolute crap.

I bought it when it was $20 and I had plenty of fun playing online with friends and modding it and I think it was worth every dollar If you like the GTA Series I would really recommend it

 

 

PS: With dual 980's (Or even a single 980 if you need to disable SLI) you will easily be able to max it out with mods at over 60FPS.

It's a fun game just for the sandbox mods.

Its a fun game, but I recommend getting the Episodes from Liberty City instead. The story mode of the regular GTA IV was kind of boring IMO and the Episodes offer a lot more content(despite them being "additions"). They are both poor console ports, but with the hardware now they should run fine. If you are into modding then I would say definitely go for it, because this game is real fun to screw with.

 

Edit: Also I am 99.9% sure that the online mode is broken due to Games For Windows Live shutting down(there might be a 3rd party mod though, but even still not many people play it).

Multiplayer is still up and working just not many people do multi anymore

Really? I remember the week before GFWL shut everybody was playing it, and then the week after there was "no players available". Do you know if Social Club is hosting it now?

Not that I know of, its still through Live since GFWL didn't shut down.
