Here not 100% sure what your saying but I think your running off a blank drive when you should be running off another drive you have which is your boot drive? Um here see if this helps and if not try and give me a little more info and also hardware specs. http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/tutorial-how-to-reformat-your-hard-drive-and-install-reinstall-windows.53502/

Ahm did you unplug the PC while it was running? or just connecting the cord to the PSU while the cord was plugged into the wall but the PC was off?

So if you just plugged in the psu cord while the PC was off, nothing bad should happen.

The BootMGR is a software problem.

Are you using a SSD or a HDD? If you are using a SSD, have you set your SATA to AHCI?

Check if the DVD drive is enabled in the bios [the sata port].

But to me it doesn't sound like a hardware problem, if you did not unplug a running pc, otherwise, might be a dead drive or something.

The unplugging it shouldn't have caused any problems, don't worry about that.

The other problem is just an error on your part in how you set up the computer to boot from. If this is a fresh install and you don't mind wiping your drives, just re-install windows and wipe the drive completely before you re-install.

i didn't unplug it. i plugged it wall socket/UPS first and then the other end to the PSU. i have wiped drives and it show 4 partitions when i create a new one for backup.

The way you plugged it in, shouldn't have any negative consequences. It's just a cord, the PSU doesn't care in which order it get's plugged in as it doesn't matter.

When installing Windows go to advanced and delete all partitions you don't need. If you cannot get that far, make a bootable Ubuntu Live-USB-Stick and format the HDDs there.

Best way on Windows to create an Ubuntu Live USB is Pendrive Linux

I'd call whoever you bought the drive off of, for example if you bought a WD Drive call WD. They will most likely give you a replacement drive, if its something serous they might give you a 1TB extra free, as a "Sorry this happened to you" Company's like WD are very generous to those kinds of things.

Hope I helped,

~Snapy :)
