Warranty question

So i just sold my PC and the bloke i sold it to asked me about the warranty so i told him all the parts have their manufacturer warranty. So he said that if anything went wrong he would get in touch with me.

I bought all the parts from OverclockersUK and was wondering that if i did need to return an item under warranty, would i go to OverclockersUK or the manufacturer... I was just asking because i could forward him the OverclockersUK invoice so if ever he did need to claim on the warranty, he didn't have to come back to me.

All i got when i placed the order was the OverclockersUK invoice and obviously that parts serial numbers.... Thanks. (I still have all their packaging and stuff, which i did offer him).

Either, but I would contract overclockers first, if they need to return it to the manufacturer they can do it on your behalf

generally it will only be a limited warranty period, say 12 months from first purchase, after that its down to the manufacturer

you can ask the manufacturer as well if they have an rma service.
