Very nice. How does it handle modern games?  It's still a pretty relevant build.

It holds up ok.  I can play Crysis 3 at max details at about 18 fps... lol.  I obviously turn down the settings.  It is an awesome Video Editing Machine though... 12 Threads at 4GHz won't be insufficient for a long time, and the 2TB+480GB is fine for storage.  If I were to do one thing, it would be to put in new graphics cards!

got so sad when my old i7 975x  died a couple weeks ago

 

but if you got a 770 or 780 / r9 290/r9 390  it would be beast
