I highly doubt it.

You might as well upgrade everything else while you're upgrading that ram.

I think it´ll run.

bf4 ~2-12fps lowest settings, medium resolution

Left 4 Dead 2 ~ 22-33fps native resolution low to mid settings

Minecraft ~ 28-40fps native resolution, lowest settings

Thanks! really appreciate this any games you can recommend? or SSD's ? Brands ? never had one before

He can't upgrade much, dats a notebook he has. notebook is prob 6 years old now.

Then replacing it would be a better option.

Postal 2 (very funny age 18+) runs pretty well on every computer

Half Life 2 (18+??)

Counter Strike Source (age 18+??)

Terraria

Team Fortress 2 (age 18+??)

The Sims 2000 (free on origin, limited time)

Dead Space (age 18+)

Intel got good ssds, but expensive.

I´ll always recommend Msi, Gigabyte and Asus parts.

I wouldn´t buy Asrock pc parts without reading reviews, but thats what I would advice for every pc part you buy.

But maybe some other forum members can give you helpful advice on what parts to buy :D

If you can upgrade to an SSD, I'd recommend getting a cheap GT or GTX card instead. Even an old HD 6850 is like $50 off of eBay.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

In all reality I wouldn´t upgrade anything in this outdated machine... you wouldn´t even profit too much from an SSD because you ain´t got SATA3. Save your money and wait until you can afford better hardware.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

This.

All I would do is replace that 2Gb ram with 4Gb. Your notebook probably has only 1 RAM slot, so you probably might not be able to add another. Or would have to replace anyway since it might use 2x 1Gb.

Another things is, you might not even have DDR3 in it. It might be DDR2. That should be checked.

As for the games:

Anything which was released before 2005-2007.

True. Any money you spend for this system is basicly thrown away.

Save a bit and than buy something prebuild on sale in the 400 bucks range.

edit: 4Gb Ram on 32bit Systems is a waste....

Ryzen 5 5600, 32GB DDR4, GTX 3070Ti, Acer Predator x34

InWin 901

Seriously, no you can't play BF4 with that GPU. It's a DirectX9 graphic processor and Battlefield 4 only support DirectX10 and over.
