Windows 8.1 problem

Hey linus community I have been using my pc for the past day now with windows 8.1. I tried turning my pc on and it turned on went to the blue windows logo then it went black.

Can someone please help

System Spec. 

It most likly means the OS is loading

 

I get it on Windows 8/8.1 when ive done diffrent OCs/hardware and software change. It varys on change but once its done it once or twice its normal instant or a lot faster.

Best thing to do is leave it for a while and see if it loads, if not you may have to use a bootable USB/CD and do a start up repair/system repair or even a re install

if i did have to reinstall i would not be to bummed out cause i only got this pc up and running yesterday so i would not lose much

Even if you do a completely fresh install Windows 8 will move your data to Windows.old, You cant really use it but your data is there like old software etc, pictures and documents may be kept in the same locations.

if i did have to reinstall i would not be to bummed out cause i only got this pc up and running yesterday so i would not lose much

Did you updated any GPU drivers, if so, are you seeing only mouse pointer!?

 

For booting Windows into Safe mode, check this!
