Wait a bit.  Then call the post office if it gets unreasonable.  Amazon should be cooperative if you gave them your money and got nothing in return.  I wouldn't know anything about Royal Mail, though.

It's not Amazon, it's Royal Mail. Being a son of an ex manager at the Mail of Royals, he'll tell you more than anyone that the post around Christmas almost triples. If it's not at your home, it's because Royal Mail is busy out of their mind. I have three presents in the mail at the moment and they all should be here. If they've been dispatched, it's not Amazon's issue now.
